The PML-N led government as in the line of Mian Shabaz Sharif's style governing alone the Punjab government and rest of the provincial assembly and cabinet are a sleeping partners.

As far as SECP is concerned, the top management of this very organization seems to be a "pupit" of every government and its blue eyed stock exchanges agent mafia.

Tahir Mehmood being an acting chirman of SECP looks more suitable as a "yes man". Critics to SECP say that TM is under the influence of Abdul Rehman Qureshi; Advisor to SECP, the magician of all times who has been claimed a close relitive of former establishment division secretary now under trial: Ismail Qureshi [who denied the fact] ARQ -  brought TM on this hot slot to cover his mal-practices he has been done in past and now.

Tahir Mehmood is well known for his puting money [cheap bribe]  into his socks when he was joint registrar at Karachi. He even does not know what to put remarks being a chairman on those correspondence received from private / public and official letters. ARQ is used to help him with lead pencil which TM copied and forwarded to his subordinates for action.
