President of PML-Q Ch Shujaat Hussain on Wednesday offered full support to the PPP government in the larger national interest.

“We will definitely support the government in all its policies which can be of national interest,” PML-Q chief said while talking to media persons after holding talks with Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Qaim Ali Shah at the Chief Minister’s House here.

The PML-Q leader visited the CM House leading a 20-member delegation. He said the PML-Q would work with the PPP in the larger interest of the province and the country. His party would continue to support and keep intact the coalition with the ruling party.

PML-Q chief said that he also held a detailed meeting with the MQM leadership and it was the desire of his party that the MQM may continue its support to the present government.

Earlier, the chief minister welcomed the delegates and hoped that the alliance would work for democracy and serve the masses without any discrimination.

Senior Minister Pir Mazharul Haq and other ministers, including Manzoor Wassan, Mohammed Ayyaz Soomro, Jam Yousuf Darejo, Jam Mehtab, Najamuddin and others were also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, Sindh CM on Wednesday hosted a lunch in honour of PML-Q chief and members of his delegation here at the CM House.

Members of the Sindh cabinet as well as members of the Sindh Assembly also attended the lunch.

What a great phrase " larger national interest" is often used by these so called politicians. There are few other phrases are repeatedly used like " Public Interest, Greater Interest to the Nation, Necessity of Time, For the Sake of Peoples Interest, Welfare of Citizens" etc etc.

It is pertinent to say that PML-Q has a track record of isolating itself from his Lords when the deed the boat is going to be sunk...sailor jumps after the rats.
